Orchestra North Summer Program Final Concert will be 6pm,  August 5 at Knox Performance Center, tickets by donation. Recommended admission of $20 per person or $30 per family, but any donation will be accepted.
 

The musicians of the Orchestra North Academy are gathering in northern BC this August for a 2024 tour!

This all-professional ensemble of 8 players will feature a varied and enriching concert, programmed specifically for their 2024 northern BC Tour.

The Orchestra North Academy brings together professional musicians from northern BC or with connections to the north to make music with and for fellow northerners.

Hear a spectacular combination of strings, winds and brass, featuring Janna Sailor (violin), Roxi Dykstra (viola/violin), Jose Delgado (viola), YuYu Liu (cello), Denis Colpitts (trumpet/horn), Amy Jordaan (trombone), Ken Hall (flute) and Kayleigh Francis (saxophone).

Expect great music, northern compositions, and fun stories about music-making from people who have made it their jobs. 

 

2024 Tour Concerts will be:

Prince George: Saturday, August 3 (7:30pm, Trinity United Church, 3555 5th Avenue)

Mackenzie: Tuesday, August 6 (7pm, Mackenzie Legion)

Vanderhoof: Wednesday, August 7 (7pm, Gospel Chapel)
