2023 was such a success and so we are so thrilled to be able to bring this inspiring and fun summer program back to the Prince George and Area Community for a second year in a row.
Orchestra North Summer Program is a collaboration between the Prince George Symphony Orchestra, the Prince George Conservatory of Music, and the Orchestra North Summer Program.
We welcome string players of all levels and ages to apply! We also welcome intermediate and advanced wind and brass players to apply. More advanced players are welcome for evening symphony orchestra and additional chamber music; by invitation.
Designed to help participants experience the joy of playing music in ensembles settings while developing their orchestral skills, the camp will also feature opportunities for chamber music and technical development. There will be ensembles for players of all levels of playing.
We gratefully acknowledge the financial support of the BC Arts Council and the many volunteer hands that make this event possible! Our costs to participants are kept very low thanks to generous sponsorships, donors, and partnerships.
2024 string camp fees are $280+GST per player.
